Excellent service. Engineer arrived a few minutes before the appointed time. Identified and explained the nature of the problem. Replaced the mechanism which now function more effectively than when new. Also identified a problem with another door that he fixed without additional charge. Highly recommended.

Fantastic job. Quick to respond, phoned to let us know he might be a little delayed due to an emergency call out. Sorted the broken lock out really quickly but in doing so spotted it had been fitted incorrectly when first installed (not by him) and sorted that out as well. Now works better than it ever did. Highly recomended

Arrived incredibly fast. A real gent. Worked quicker than I imagined was possible. Door was open in 10 seconds flat. Will be utilising his services in future for any lock mishaps. Door would not lock after being shaved down due to swelling...Towergate came out within 30 mins on Sunday evening and fixed the problem & secured the property. All working fine now. Thank you so much. Great customer service and very polite too.

David changed some window handles for us after we enquired via checkatrade. He was friendly and efficient and beat the price we'd been quoted by others.

Great service all round. Came to fix a broken window lock initially but helped me with door locks at a later date as he managed to spot one that was breaking. Offered good security advice and the service was quick and friendly and a decent price. Highly recommended.

A truly wonderful service. In the ridiculous situation of my husband being stuck in the bathroom, not the lock but the handle mechanism. I phoned Towergate 7.30 am !! Then as promised John came to the rescue within half an hour, cannot thank him enough he was brilliant and promptly sorted it. He was great and certainly service with smile. The best in the business - could not recommend enough! Professional work done with top skill, diligence, and efficiency. Having locked myself out after 8pm, and with no help from other locksmiths in the York area, they responded very quickly and arrived within 20 minutes from the initial call. Although the problem was quite severe (the lock was damaged beyond repair), the locksmith was absolutely brilliant - he communicated very well and walked me through what needs to be done. After nearly two hours of intense work with many tools quite late into the night, in the end, he managed to crack the lock! The new replacement lock was installed immediatelly, and fitted to the old door/door frame without any major damage, which was very much appreciated. Cannot thank you enough David - response to this emergency call and the service received could not be any better.
